Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: January 1, 2025
PrinterPrecisionReview.site is an informational blog that publishes printer guides, troubleshooting tutorials, and printer reviews. In the interest of full transparency, this page explains how our website earns revenue and how that revenue relates — and does not relate — to our editorial content.
What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a specially tracked URL that allows a retailer to identify that a visitor came from our website. When you click an affiliate link on PrinterPrecisionReview.site and subsequently make a purchase on the retailer's website, we may receive a small commission. You pay the same price you would pay if you visited the retailer directly — the commission comes from the retailer, not from you.
FTC Disclosure
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 C.F.R. Part 255), PrinterPrecisionReview.site discloses that some links on this website are affiliate links through which we may earn commissions on qualifying purchases. This disclosure applies site-wide. Individual articles may also contain inline disclosures where affiliate links are present.
Which Programs We Participate In
We may participate in affiliate programs operated by major retailers and networks including, but not limited to, Amazon Associates, and other retailer-specific affiliate programs. Participation in these programs does not influence which products we review, how we score them, or what we recommend.
How Affiliate Revenue Affects Our Editorial Process
It does not. Our review scores, Editor's Choice designations, and recommendations are determined solely by our standardized testing benchmarks and editorial judgment. We do not accept higher commission rates in exchange for favorable coverage. We do not alter scores, rankings, or recommendations based on affiliate earning potential. A product we earn no commission on receives the same editorial treatment as a product with a high commission rate.
We would give the same advice to a close friend or family member as we give to our readers — regardless of whether an affiliate link exists.
How We Use Affiliate Revenue
Affiliate commissions help fund the cost of purchasing printer units for testing, hosting and operating the website, and paying our editorial team. Without this revenue stream, we could not purchase review units at full retail price and maintain our policy of not accepting manufacturer samples.
